IgM or IgG anti stre: In general antibody titers are (blood or saliva or wherever the sample is )tests that measure the immunoglobulines associated to certain diseases (in this case streptococal)that indicate whether or not the body has developed defenses against. Igm elevated means a "recent" infection, IgG elevation means old or previous exposure.

ASO titer: Anti-streptolysin o (aso) is the antibody made against streptolysin o, an immunogenic, oxygen-labile hemolytic toxin produced by most strains of group a and many strains of groups c and g streptococci. The o in the name stands for oxygen-labile. The main function of streptolysin o is to cause hemolysis (the breaking open of red blood cells).
