Die: Dying is probably the worse thing that can happen with any disease, including hypothyroidism if it becomes severe enough and is not treated. Weight gain, cold intolerance, dry skin, hair loss, high cholesterol, fatigue, swelling, constipation are some of the other symptoms that occur. If you have it, there is no reason not to treat it.
