It depends: How big was the bone? Esophageal complications from swallowing sharp animal bones are common and must be removed by endoscope. If the bone passed through the esophagus without injury and depending on the size and shape, one might consider following the progress through the GI tract for 3 days. Any pain, nausea, vomiting, fever, or melena must be addressed promptly.
