Non prescription: Ibuprofen comes in 200 mg doses. One should never exceed the reccomended dose based upon weight ( see bottle) unless it is . With a prescription. Prescription regimens are stronger and pills usually are in 600 or 800 mg. Taking Ibuprofen with food is often important to avoid stomach upset. Health conditions may force one to avoid or limit this drug. If you do take a medication take it regularly.

Carpal Tunnel : If you are relying on Ibuprofen or any other anti inflammatory medication to treat your carpal tunnel, that is a problem. Having said that, i would only use a low dose for a short interval with the blessing of your pmd. If symptoms persist look to other forms of treatment.
