Not necessarily : Normal lung should not have ' spot ' , when present with it , may be born with , as in hemartoma or undeveloped lung tissue , or scar from old infection as in TB , or a tumor benign or malignant. Physician has to asses which is which , by varies tests including biopsy for the correct diagnosis & treatment. So it may or may not be cancer , need to discuss with doctor.
