Confirm with testing: Peanut allergy can be very serious and needs to be confirmed with testing. Depending on her age it could potentially get worse with each exposure. If she is completely fine now there is nothing immediate that needs to be done but if there is any throat swelling/ breathing issues use Benadryl (diphenhydramine) and seek immediate help. Go to primary for testing and avoid peanuts and any product with peanuts for now.

Seek attention!: True peanut allergy doesn't just "go away." it can get worse and the next time it could be a severe reaction where her breathing is affected. You need at the very least to start carrying an Epipen (epinephrine) and get her tested for confirmation if you are not sure of the allergy.

Peanut allergy: Peanut allergy reactions can range from mild to severe. I would advise seeing an allergist for evaluation. If this episode does not clear promptly with Benadryl (diphenhydramine) or the symptoms become worse your child should be seen promptly.
