Nope!: Mrcp is extremely safe and completely non-invasive. You usually don't even need to have contrast injected. You will essentially be slid into a tunnel (the MRI machine) which will whir and make loud noises but you will not feel anything. If you have claustrophobia, you may want to ask your physician for some anti-anxiety medications to take just before the mri.
