See a back surgeon: This is a complex issue and is highly dependent upon the actual lesion, the patient and the extent of symptoms. Surgical fusion may or may not be helpful, and sometimes makes things worse. Find a highly recommended surgeon and let them evaluate and recommend management. Good luck.
