Mobic (meloxicam): Miloxicam is an anti-inflammatory, in the advil (ibuprofen) family. To a certain extent, they all thin the blood -- some more than others. Aspirin seems to thin the most and last the longest (15 days). Each one has different properties, as usual....

Meloxicam?: No, Meloxicam is a pain killer in the group of medications known as nsaids. Ibuprofen is another example of this type of medication. Meloxicam is supposed to be gentler on the stomach than the other nsaids, however, it can irritate the stomach and cause bleeding. Perhaps that is why you are thinking of it as a blood thinner.
