Pruritus ani: There are several possible causes for this, including pinworm. If there are no children in the home, pinworm in not likely. The majority of these cases are due to FECAL SOILING. After you evacuate and wipe, then use a skin cream [any moisturizer] on the bathroom paper to clean INSIDE the anus. Also do this if it feels wet, often after a fart. Also do this whenever it feels itchy or irritated.
