Yes: Pregnancy after a tubal ligation is not common but it happens. If so, there is an increased risk of a tubal (ectopic) pregnancy, perhaps as high as a 50 percent chance. If someone suspects that she conceived following a tubal ligation, prompt evaluation is important.
