If the only way to know if moles or lesions are cancerous is to take a biopsy, what's the purpose of a screening? What if a doctor suspects a mole is normal when it's not? Would it be quick to change?
Need a second opinion. there is a small mole in between my toes that popped up months ago. have been monitoring it, no changes so far. passes ABCDE. seeing a doctor soon, they can do biopsies. should I ask for one since it's in a strange place?
How accurate is fine needle biopsy for mole? Doctors did biopsy with Hematoxyline + Eosin on my raised 7cm mole that's enlarged w/ its color along with the skin around it changed recently. Lot's of bleeding but they sent me off with nothing spotted.
