Could there be a cure for fibromyalgia?

No: There are no cures but there are therapies which can often provide good benefit. These therapies include low impact aerobic activity, stretching and medications such as gabapentin, lyrica, Cymbalta and savella (milnacipran).

No cure: Use the medications that are prescribed and stay active. Despite a lack of a cure it is possible to lead a full and productive life.

Yes: Fibromyalgia cure? Cause unknown, cure elusive & several consultants needed: Rheumatologist for diagnosis & FDA-approved meds. Osteopath for soft tissue diagnosis. Alternative Physician for neutriceuticals. Yoga (gentle) instructor. Aquatherapy (P.T.) instructor. Cannabis consultant & meds for pain, mood, & sleeping. Mindfulness Therapy coach. Licensed masseuse. Persons who pursued these improved.

Fibromyalgia: It's more a matter of management than cure, unfortunately. Pain management, preferably with as few pills as possible is of utmost importance. Here is the website of the American Academy of Pain Management: http://www.aapainmanage.org/
