Possible Risk: One of the troubling risks associated with the removal of wisdom teeth whether erupted or impacted is the potential for altered sensations provided by the inferior alveolar nerve that supplies sensations to the lower jaw. Early removal before the roots are fully developed decreases the risk. Depending on how much time has elapsed since your surgery will help provide the correct answer.
