Is it ok to take nyquil if i have asthma?

Nyquil: If your asthma is not controlled and you are coughing at night nyquil willl not calm it down, use an albuterol inhaler instead and tell your doctor about your nocturnal symptoms. If you are only taking it for cold symptoms, you can.
