Egg allergy: Egg allergy can lead to a worsening of eczema, it can result in hives or swelling (angioedema) of the face, mouth or entire body. Symptoms can include vomiting and diarrhea. Egg anaphylaxis (severe reaction) is less common, but more serious. Egg allergy is more common in children than adults and the triggering protein is usually in the egg white vs the yolk.
