Likely simple: Pain in the back that improves with exercise and stretching is most likely muscle tension and or spasms. You might investigate proper body mechanics while sleeping and assess your mattress for adequate support. Advil (ibuprofen) may also help but check with your doc if it persists or before taking any med long term.
