OTC acne products: Typically if your scars do not recede in a few months you should invest in physician grade products that can help improve your acne and prevent scarring. Alpha hydroxy's and Retin-A can help exfoliate your skin, hydroquinone can help lighten scars; and if more severe you may needs peels or lasers to even out the scars. Good diet, water, vitamin d and b can help the skin heal.
