Depends: It really depends on your skin type. Oil of olay, roc and nivea have great products. You can go to any of the drug stores that have a specialist and get some advice. If it is severe, you should see a dermatologist.

OTC acne products: Typically if your scars do not recede in a few months you should invest in physician grade products that can help improve your acne and prevent scarring. Alpha hydroxy's and Retin-A can help exfoliate your skin, hydroquinone can help lighten scars; and if more severe you may needs peels or lasers to even out the scars. Good diet, water, vitamin d and b can help the skin heal.
