A member asked:

Need help. is 5ug of vitamin d enough per day?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Units: Vitamin d is dosed in units not micrograms. An appropriate dose of vitamin d3 for most people is about 2, 000 units/day. The conversion is that 25 micrograms is about 1, 000 units, so your 5 ug would be very very small indeed.
