Can you start your period while on birth control pills (not the placebo pills)?

You get when stop pi: There are 21 pills packs without placebo which will make you have your period approx. A week after your 21 pill pack is finished.If you have 28 pill pack the same thing will happen only you will continue to take your pills with a new pack every 28 days.So in other words your periods only come after you have finished 21 birth control pills.And you do not get your periods while you are taking pills.
