Can you please tell me about some great ways of treating the blister on my foot?

Protective Mechanism: With injury to our skin, inflammation occurs which means the area becomes red, warm, tender and with swelling. Swelling occurs under skin layers and causes bulging creating a protective fluid cushion we call a blister. As the area heals, the fluid is resorbed or when no longer needed, the blister opens and the fluid drains. This should take about a week. Simple bandaids and staying off are the tx.
