Ask your doctor: People with CF can do all sorts of activities that other people can do. The answer more depends on the health of your boyfriend. I would have him ask his doctor.

Attend if can: If he is well enough to attend, then there should be no reason not to go. I would recommend though avoiding anyone who seems sick, using hand sanitizer and having an annual flu vaccination.
