What would experts say? could a dehumidifier be a good idea for my mother, who has copd?

Maybe: COPD patients do best in temperate area. Not too hot or too cold. Thick hot air can be difficult to breath but generally some humidity is very good. So depends. Cool dryer air is often preferred so dehumidifier could be helpful.
