A few things: First- quit smoking if you do!!. I can;t emphasize this enough. Secondly, get tested to confirm you have both conditions. Thirdly- get treated. Controller inhalers and rescue inhalers are the mainstay for asthma and is some cases COPD as well. Try to stay away from "triggers" that cause asthma attacks or COPD exacerbations if you can.
