Neuropathy : Tingling in the feet is also known as peripheral neuropathy. Diabetes is diagnosed by high blood glucose, when the pancreas doesn't produce enough insulin. Tingling in feet is one of the symptoms or signs of diabetes. However tingling can also be caused by poor circulation or nerve issues such as tarsal tunnel syndrome or neuroma. See a foot or nerve dr. After you get a blood test from your dr.

Not necessarily: Tingling in the feet could mean neuropathy (nerve damage) from a lot of different reasons. Back pain, radiculopathy, alcoholism, syphillis, leprosy, etc could all cause neuropathy. Also, nerve impingement at the foot itself from swelling or trauma could cause tingling. If you are concerned about diabetes, best to get your blood sugar checked. Hope this helps!

Possible neuropathy: Depending on the affected nerves, symptoms of diabetic neuropathy can range from a numbness and tingling sensation, possibly a burning sensation, to an uncomfortable painful sensation of the extremities. Neuropathy may affect your digestive system, urinary tract, blood vessels and the heart. For some people, the symptoms are mild; for others, it can be painful and disabling.
