A member asked:

Need help when my blood sugar is 110mg/dl or 115mg/dl, what is my status?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Fasting?: If this is drawn from a vein, not a finger stick, and is fasting for at least 8 hours -- it is above normal and indicates prediabetes or impaired fasting glucose - which can progress to true diabetes over time. If you're overweight, begin to eat less and exercise more to lose weight and begin some diet/diabetes education.
