Phone call..: .. To the oral surgeon. Bad breath may be coming from a dry socket, which needs to be treated by the surgeon who extracted the tooth. If the bad breath is coming from another source, then you need to determine the cause and have that treated.

Brush: Make sure she is brushing her tongue as part of good oral care, or using a tongue scraper. That would be a good place to begin.
