Yes: Limiting caffeine (and sugar) can help with depression. Both can make you feel good for an hour or so after you consume them but later you will have the opposite reaction. They cause this by increasing the release of Insulin which then in turn lowers the blood sugar. This drop in sugar level can make you feel tired and down.
