Nerve contusion: To the sensory nerves that supply the top of the hand especial;ly on the thumb side in the radial sensory nerve can be uncomfortable and can reslut on the nerve feeling as tho the entire length of th nerv is affected. Care for the bruising to the nreve is just like caring for a bruise anythwhere else except if nervepain is severe, non narcotic pain meds and nerve medications may help.
