Dr. Meng Syn answered

Yes: Very important. It is 80% of our body. The body is a water metabolizing machine and it runs on water and minerals. Water is essential in every metabolic process in the body. Optimal water levels in humans are so critical to our health that as little as a 15% drop in body fluids can result in death. One should drink at least 10 cups of water per day.
