Depends on cause: The cause of your ear drainage can be due to many reasons and each of these reasons have a different treatment. An ear canal infection would need debridement and antibiotic drops, a chronic middle ear infection would need surgery as would a cholesteatoma. Get it checked out by an ENT first.
