Yes, it could be, or could be a foreign body in the ear canal, or if you’ve been swimming or had water sit in your ear canal, you might have an ear canal infection. These are treated differently, so I would recommend that you be examined by your doctor or at an UrgentCare to be sure and get the proper treatment.
