Varies: Sinus infections can become very dangerous if left untreated. The infection can cause coughing, swallowing of mucous leading to gastritis, pressure, eye pain, double vision, and can even turn into fungal infections which in severe cases could be fatal if it enters the brain. If your symptoms do not improve within 5-7 days, you should see your pcp immediately. Keep smiling !
