PAIN FROM COLON: This type of pain is most often associated with either increased air in the colon or smooth muscle spasm of the colon, especially if it is intermittent. Supplementing with acidophilus and magnesium aspartate from a professional source may help here. Increase fiber to prevent constipation and promote regular bowel movements as well. Consider an abdominal x-ray to rule out anything more serious.
