Maybe: I don't know what "didn't help" means, were you able to normalize your testosterone levels? Did you symptoms not improve? Some people respond better to gels and others prefer injections. In my experience, the gels are preferable for most patients, but i don't have enough information to tell you specifically. Talk it over with your doctor.

Discuss symptoms: Most common reason a treatment "doesn't help" is because patient and doctor have different ideas of what the problem is. Low t mostly causes fatigue, depression and loss of muscle mass. Erectile dysfunction is rarely due to low testosterone alone. Often men ask for testosterone and then are disappointed if erections don't improve after taking - if that is concern, talk more frankly with your dr.
