Sleep Hygiene: Sleeping medication should only be used for two weeks or less. To sleep well avoid caffeine and alcohol, exercise daily, eat your last meal of the day around 6 pm, adopt a relaxing bed time routine that allows you to start a calm wind down about 30 minutes before you go to sleep. Avoid tv, computer and electronics in the bed room. Use guided imagery and progressive relaxation to get to sleep.
