Confusion: If this is an obvious sudden episode pt needs evaluation with labs, ct of brain or mri. If this is normal and the confusion is recurrent or frequent may be early dementia alzheimer's type. There is some genetic predisposition to personalities where may be normal in families to be forgetful at times if there are no other signs of significant dementia.
