Took my six yr old to the er because he wakes up screaming in pain with left knee pain but it only hurts when sleep they didn't say much still in pain?

Growing pains: Would try Aspirin and see if that helps big continues pain would take to see a pediatric orthopedist. Most likely growing type pains but if prolonged would get x-rays and have a full evaluation.
