Can correct itself: If your child has mild to moderate femoral anteversion and no other torsions then we often watch it. Fa can correct up to age 12. But to be sure, check with your pediatric orthopedist for a definitive plan.

It's normal: You are correct. Femoral anteversion and internal tibial torsion are normal variants that almost always go away without any treatment. I have never treated any of my patients with corrective shoes, bars, pt or other similar treatments. The work of lynn staheli (http://www.Youtube.Com/watch?V=kzyikwwjn8e) has demonstrated that it doesn't help. If you feel uncomfortable, get a second opinion.
