A member asked:

I am taking vitamin a+e tablets can they cause bloating?

A doctor has provided 1 answer
Dr. Jon Fishburn answered

Possibly vit. e: Vitamin a is usually well tolerated. Vitamin e may cause gas(flatulence), and if you by chance are taking fish oil, this may cause the same as vitamin e.

25 y.o. male, no history , BMI 23 and I just experienced sudden increase in gas, flatulence and bloating. My vitamin D level was about 12 so I started supplementing myself. Do you think it's likely that vitamin D triggered this ?
