Your suspicion could be true because the GI symptoms occur at the same time of taking a new medication. You need vitamin D supplement but you can use a different formula or brand. You did not tell us what formula you are taking. By my experience, the high dose 25,000 or 50,000 IU, once weekly, has more adverse effects than the lower, daily dose.
