Drs found a left para aortic lymph node enlarged to 3cm .....all other test came back ok no symptoms....no cancer... is it ok to leave it alone?

See below: We would need to know if a biopsy was performed or whether they are going watch by performing a ct chest or pet scan.

Evaluation: First question is why was initial scan that found lymph node performed? A complete evaluation is critical. Isolated para-aortic and ap window nodes (levels 6 & 5) can be benign inflammatory, from lung cancer, from other cancer, or etc... Complete health maintenance including history, physical and appropriate risk associated screening critical : mammography, +/- colonoscopy, head neck eval, etc...
