Several causes: Dyspnea that is gradually progressive, worse at night, without cough could be due to several different causes. It could be due to infection, obstructive disorders such as asthma, or restrictive conditions such as lung fibrosis. A lung specialist can do detailed exam, measure your lung function by spirometry to identify pattern of lung disease & recommend appropriate investigations to find cause.
