Bronchitis: If you were examined by a doc and they heard what sounds like bronchitis in your chest it likely is correct. Sometimes the cough doesn't hit till it loosens up. Give it time.

CXR?: I would start with a chest x-ray. Signs of bronchitis are productive cough, fever (not always), malaise etc. Not sure of a diagnosis of bronchitis without cough. Get a second opinion.

No cough?: The main symptom of bronchitis is cough. If you are not happy with your diagnosis or treatment, you owe yourself a second opinion. But only someone who sees you and takes a good history and physical can make a proper diagnosis!
