What is the best time to take the medication for high blood pressure ? morning or evening? after food or before food?

Depends: All can be taken with our without food. Take with food if causes upset stomach. Hydrochlorothiazide should be taken in am, because u don't want to be up urinating all night. Amlodipine and Irbesartan could be taken at either time, but should be taken at around the same time each day, whichever you choose. Probably best to take one med at night, so everything is not hitting you all at once.

BP medication: Very good question. Data show that taking BP meds in the evening after food is best. Many BP pills though are not 24 hour pills. Amlodipine is about 18 hours duration. Taking it in the evening is best.
