A member asked:

It's it normal for kids to get pinworms again about 1 month later after they already had them and been treated

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Repeat episods: Pinworms are an only human worm that needs only for the child to ingest some eggs off their fingers to re-establish their life within the large intestines. The first treatment may not have been effective, or the child has been re-exposed, either way, kids can repeat the process at any point.
