A member asked:

When can a child return to school if she has been treated for pinworms?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Immediately: Children do not need to be kept out of school for pinworms. They are almost ubiquitous in preschool and daycare children and only need treated if they are causing symptoms. Most children who have them do not have symptoms and they and their families are not aware they are there. See http://www.Cdc.Gov/parasites/pinworm.
