See cardiologist: Chest pain and shortness of breath are not normal and often associated with cardiac disease. Anxiety can sometimes mimic symptoms of cardiac disease. Certainly a cardiologist should be consulted to rule out cardiac etiology;.Other causes of chest pain include gastroesophageal reflux and musculoskeletal abnormalities.Consult a cardiologist for these issues.
