A few options: You want to make sure you are preventing things from getting worse. Receding gums can be due to a multitude of factors like heavy brushing, bone loss (periodontal disease), and bruxism (grinding). You may have exposed root surface and now those areas are susceptible to cavities. Fillings can be done to protect the teeth from further damage. Or a gum graft can be done to cover the areas affected.

Gum grafts: The only way to fix them and attempt to return them to normal is with gingival grafting. There are several procedures. You need to see a periodontist to discuss your options.
