I'm on lexapro (escitalopram) and klonopin for 2 months... i also have allergies. i woke up with a swollen eye . what could cause this?

Swollen eye: If you've been on those 2 meds for 2 months, it'd be strange for it to cause a reaction all of a sudden now. Couple things can cause a swollen eye: allergies, trauma (a scratch), a stye, infection (pink eye or cellulitis). Concerning symptoms include significant discharge, pain, and blurry vision. Best of luck to you!

Psychotropic meds: It is doubtful that unilateral eye swelling two months into taking these medications was responsible.

Many possibilities: This could certainly be part of an allergic reaction, but unlikely related to Lexapro (escitalopram) or klonopin. Most allergic reactions to medication occur very soon after starting the medication.
